Details

Adjustable Tilting Wall Mount Bracket for LCD LED Plasma (Max 165 lbs, 30~63 inch), BLACK, UL Certified

Don't leave your flat panel TV on a table or stand where it can be knocked over and damaged, or even worse injure a child or pet. Instead, mount it securely and safely to the wall using this Adjustable Tilting Wall Mount Bracket from Monoprice!

This mount bracket has the ability to tilt up to 15 degrees downward, making it ideal for overhead displays in a commercial setting or for keeping the TV out of reach of little hands at home. The mount has undergone extensive safety testing and has been certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL), which ensures that it will perform safely and reliably.

This bracket is designed to mount an LCD, LED, or Plasma display with a VESA mounting pattern between 100x100 and 750x450, which includes most 30" to 63" TVs*. It can be mounted to any type wall (brick, concrete, wood stud, etc.) and can safely hold up to 165 lbs (including the weight of the mount itself). Mounting hardware is included.

The slim wall plate keeps the screen close to the wall for a very discreet installation that is perfect for boardrooms, digital signage, or home theaters. The back of the display sits about 4 inches off the wall when set in parallel. The mount includes simple to align brackets and a unique wall plate that can be mounted to various wall constructions including wood studs or concrete.

* Note that the display screen size is only an approximation. Your TV is compatible with this mount as long as your display has a VESA mounting pattern and weight that fit within the size and weight limits listed above.

Question: How do I determine if this mount will fit my television?

Answer: Please click the "Specifications" tab for a detailed description for mounting pattern compatibility.

Question: Can I mount this bracket to metal wall studs?

Answer: Our mounts come with hardware to mount to wooden studs or concrete. No instructions or hardware are provided for mounting to metal studs. While the mount should work with metal studs, I would advise consulting with a professional installer or seeking the advice of someone in your local hardware store to find out how to do it properly and securely. The maximum weight capacity the wall will hold may be less than mounting to wooden studs or concrete.

Question: What''s the difference between PID# 3900, 4173 and 4174?

Answer: PID# 3900 and 4173 are identical in everyway except the packaging. PID# 3900 comes in the Monoprice branded package. PID# 4173 comes in generic unbranded packaging for resellers who which to sell the mounts as their own.

PID# 4174 is a premium version of PID# 3900. It is the same in design and size. However, it is constructed of thicker gauge steel, 2.5mm vs 2.0mm for the standard mounts.

Question: What''s the difference between PID# 3900, 2852 & 4115?

Answer: Only the color.

Question: I''ve heard that the lag bolts break easily. Has that issue been resolved?

Answer: Yes, we have reviewed and tested the lag bolts that are shipped with the mounts and made replacements where we thought improvements were possible. The included lag bolts should be just as reliable as those found in a retail hardware store. However, we have also found that a majority of the snapped bolts were due to lack of or insufficient pilot holes being pre-drilled into the studs prior to installation. Pilot holes of adequate diameter to a depth equal to the length of the bolt should be drilled. If the pilot holes are too shallow, they will cause the bolt to over-torque and snap. This can and will happen with any grade of lag bolt.ed.
