Monoprice - 2X1 Mini HDMI® Switch w/ Optional Power Input
Details
2X1 Mini HDMI® Switch w/ Optional Power Input
When all you need is a simple switch to choose between two input source devices, you will be hard pressed to find a better solution than the Monoprice 2x1 Mini HDMI® Switch!
Note that this switch has regular HDMI Connectors. The "mini" in the title and description refer to the size of the switch, not the type of connectors it uses.
This small switch automatically switches between two input devices, depending upon which one is turned on. It is powered by the HDMI source, so no external power supply is required (though one can optionally be used if one of the devices has a weak signal output strength).
The switch handles High Speed (1080p) signals with High Definition audio and 12-bit per channel Color Depth. A manual switching option is available via a button on the top of the unit, in case you don't want to turn off the unused source or your source continues to power the HDMI cable when in standby mode.
Note: Monoprice strongly recommends the use of minimum 24 AWG HDMI cables when connecting a device, such as this switch, between the source and destination devices to ensure minimal signal loss and maximum High Speed signal reliability.

Question: The picture from my switch is constantly flickering, even though I have 24AWG or thicker HDMI cables.
Answer: The issue could be caused by a device or cable nearby the setup,or in the setup causing interference. Try rerouting cable paths and distancing devices from sources of interference, such as moving routers and other networking cables away from the switch setup.
