This case provides double duty, protecting your new iPad from the wear and tear of daily use, and providing a hands-free viewing platform for your multimedia content. The polycarbonate shell gives an extra layer of shock protection, while the blue leatherette exterior provides comfort and style.
The case/stand can prop up your iPad into a near vertical landscape orientation for multimedia content viewing or into a slightly angled, ergonomic typing position. The cover is lined with a soft felt material, which provides a soft cushion of protection for the finish of your new iPad. The cover also features a magnetic latch, which both keeps the cover shut and automatically turns your iPad on when it is opened and off when it is closed.
Note that the iPad Cover Lock / Unlock option is not enabled by default. The option is located by pressing the Home button, then choosing Settings > General. However, the option will not be visible until you actually attach the magnetic cover to the iPad. Alternatively, you can use a small refrigerator magnet to simulate a magnetic cover, thereby allowing the option to become visible.
The cover has cutouts for the connectors, camera lens, and controls. Additionally, the cover is slotted at the top to allow clear access to the 4G antenna area, ensuring that it will not interfere with 4G reception.
