Recessed low voltage pass through wall plates give your installation a finished appearance but allows you the versatility of using the cable types of your choice. Multiple lines can be passed through a single plate allowing you to mix and match while eliminating the need to have multiple plates spread out across your wall.

With these new plates you can install low voltage cables directly behind your flat panel TV, amplifier/home theater receiver, or other audio/video devices.

Question: How do you attach the wall plate to the wall?

Answer: You will need to attach them to a gang box or wall bracket. None are provided. You can acquire these at a local hardware store.

Question: What is a low voltage cable?

Answer: Low Voltage cables refer to standard audio and video cables such as VGA, Composite, Component, HDMI, Stereo L/R, etc. Power cables would not be low voltage. Standard power cables are high voltage and should not be passed through the wall.
