2x4 HDMI® Switch & Splitter

Why make everyone at your football party crowd around one or two HDMI® displays? You can run up to four High Speed displays with this Monoprice Switch/Splitter, so everyone can have a clear view of the action!

This device has two HDMI inputs and four HDMI outputs, so you can switch between two input source devices and send the signal simultaneously to four displays. No setup or special configuration is required, simply connect the input device(s) and output device(s), then start using it!

The unit also has a built in, automatically adjusting amplifier. This means that you can use longer than normal HDMI cables running to the inputs. The built-in amplifier will then regenerate the HDMI signal before sending it to the outputs. This lets you extend beyond the normal range (25 feet) for High Speed (1080p) signals.

The unit supports up to 1080p resolution, 12-bit per channel color depth, and high definition audio signals, such as DTS® Digital, Dolby®, DTS-HD Master Audio™, and Dolby TrueHD™, as well as standard LPCM stereo.

Note that you don't have to have two inputs and four outputs to use this device. You can use just the switching function if you only have one display or just the splitter function if you have only one input.

Note: Monoprice strongly recommends the use of minimum 24 AWG HDMI cables when connecting a device, such as this switch/splitter, between the source and destination devices to ensure minimal signal loss and maximum High Speed signal reliability.
