Power: Oh yeah, baby! You say you want power, well these speakers have power and then some. Each of the four drivers is powered by a separate 50-watt RMS amplifier, for a total of 200 watts RMS! Ordinary powered speakers, with only a single amp per channel, suffer when one driver wants more than its share of power, causing the other to be underpowered. This can cause distortion or even speaker damage. By using a separate amp for each driver, we ensure that each tweeter and each woofer gets all the power it needs. |
