General - Canada Post
All orders purchased from Cables on Sale are shipped from within Canada (Richmond Hill or Toronto, Ontario) and do not have to clear customs.
Generally, because orders go through only one carrier like Canada Post, UPS or FedEx, depending on which shipping method your choose, orders arrive much quicker. It's like ordering from Monoprice Canada without having to worry about duties, taxes, exchange rate fees and customs processing fees.
Our standard shipping method is via Canada Post, using the Expedited ParcelTM service, but we also ship via UPS and FedEx. If you have a shipping preference or would like us to use your account, please let us know.
For Expedited ParcelTM service, the estimated delivery times based on Canada Post are:
- Local (GTA & Ontario Urban Areas): 1 day
- Regional (Ontario & Quebec): 1 up to 3 days
- National (Rest of Canada): 2 up to 7 days
NOTE: Most orders are shipped next business day from the date of the order, but we may take up to three business days from the date of the order. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within Canada. Please note that we cannot be responsible for damage occurring during shipping, however we will assist you in contacting the shipping agent.
Cables on Sale is not responsible for delays, loss or damages once the package is handed off to Canada Post. Cables on Sale will assist with opening the ticket but we will have to wait for Canada Post to complete their internal investigations.

Please note we will share your email address, first - last name and phone number with Penguin Pick-Up (smartcentres.com). They will create an unique account on your behalf. They will contact you when your package is ready for pickup.

Shipping on Returned Packages
It is customer's responsibility to insure the accuracy and completeness of the shipping address as per the Canada Post Addressing Guide
Please note that the customer shall cover the cost associated with return postage for orders returned due to an addressing error such as invalid address, including but not limited to the following reasons:
- Unclaimed Item
- No Such Address
- Address Incomplete
- Moved, Address unknown
- No such Post Office
- Refused by Addressee
- Unkown
And any other reasons as provided by Canada Post.

If the customer chooses to have the order re-shipped, the customer shall also be responsible for re-shipping costs of the returned items.
If the customer chooses not to have the order re-shipped, Cables on Sale will refund the difference using the following formula:
Refund = The original total charge for the order minus The original shipping cost minus The cost of the return postage (as per Canada Post)
If the customer chooses not to have the returned order re-shipped and the cost of the refund is negative, in other words the customer is found owing a balance to Cables on Sale for the return postage that is greater than the value of the returned product, Cables On Sale will send a payment request to the customer for this amount.
Customes, Duties and Import Taxes
Canada
Items shipped to Canada are shipped from within Canada. You will not pay any duties on your order when shipped within Canada.
International Orders
We can ship internationally, but it is impossible for us to be familiar with import laws for each country. Therefore we cannot be responsible for any customs or duty charges on international shipments. Charges (if any) are determined by customs officials once the shipment has arrived in the country. If you have questions or concerns about customs, please contact customs within your country to inquire as to regulations and costs.
