This is a new TOSLINK optical audio cable for use with home theater receivers, digital signal processors, DAT machines, Divx players, DVD players, CD players, DSS receivers, DAT player/recorders, mini disc player/recorders, Sony Playstation 2 & 3, XBox, ALESIS, or any components that use normal full-size TOSLINK optical audio connectors.

- Outside diameter: 5.0mm
- Molded strain relief connectors reduce strain where the cable and connectors meet.
- Gold plated ferrule resists corrosion and provides maximum protection for the connector tip. 
- Precision polished fiber tips for maximum signal transfer (includes tip protectors).

* Note: Before using this cable, you must remove the plastic tip protectors. The tips of the connectors should be shiny, metal, and gold. If you see a plastic tip, remove it before attempting to install the cable.
